Hi, I’m Mark
First of all, congratulations! If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re planning one of the most exciting days of your lives — and I’d love to be the person there to capture it for you.
I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. What started as a passion at school eventually led me to study photography, build my own experience and, most importantly, discover just how much I love being behind the camera.
But when it comes to weddings, it’s not really about the camera for me. It’s about you.
It’s about the laughter, the happy tears, the nerves, the excitement and all those little moments that happen throughout the day. The glance between you during the ceremony. Your parents seeing you for the first time. Your friends letting loose on the dance floor. The hugs, the laughter and even those moments you didn’t realise were happening.
Those are the photographs I love capturing.
I want your wedding photographs to bring those feelings back every time you look at them — whether that’s six months from now, ten years from now, or when you’re sitting together as an old married couple looking back on the day it all began.
My approach is relaxed and natural. I’m not going to spend your entire wedding day lining you up and telling you where to stand. Of course, I’ll give you some direction when you need it, particularly when it comes to your couple photographs, but for the most part I want you to enjoy your wedding day.
Forget about the camera. Spend time with the people you love. Laugh, cry, dance, celebrate and make memories.
I’ll take care of capturing them.
I’ve photographed everything from weddings and portraits to live music and events, and my experience photographing live performances has taught me to anticipate those fleeting moments and be ready when they happen. My work has also been published in theatre programmes and online music magazines.
